Numbers 1-100 Digital Spinner Math Activities Part 3

Learning to count to 100 can be a difficult skill for some children to master but, there is such a sense of accomplishment once they can count to 100. With the Numbers 1-100 Digital Spinner Math Activities children work on counting to 100, counting on, counting backward, and place value concepts. The activities are interactive and engaging and the digital math spinners can be used on interactive whiteboards, computers, and tablets such as an iPad. This motivates children to do the activities and makes them ideal for use in the classroom or for distance learning.

To setup the activities, all you need to do is open the selected digital spinner with Google Slides, PowerPoint, or as a video, and provide the selected worksheet. There is no need to print spinners and provide paper clips and pencils or plastic spinners! The activities can be used in classroom math centers or for distance learning. The worksheets make great accountability pages.

Number Words 10-100

In previous activities, students worked on number words 1-10 and number words 11-20. With this activity, they are going to practice reading and spelling number words 10-100. Combined with the previous games, your students will be able to read and write number words from 1-100. Students spin the spinner and write the matching number word on the worksheet. A word box is provided to support students in spelling the number words correctly.

Race to 50

This math game is a great way for students to practice counting to 50. Children spin the Numbers 1-10 spinner and count on until they get to 50. How many spins before they get to 50?

The game can also be played with multiple students. Students take turns spinning a number on the digital spinner and color the correct number of numerals on their own worksheet. Who will win the race and get to number 50 first?

Counting on within 50

Counting forward from a number other than one is an important counting skill for students to master. It is the foundation of being able to learn to add. In this activity, students spin a number and count on writing the numbers.

Counting Backward within 50

Counting backward from a number is an important counting skill for students to master. It is the foundation of being able to subtract. In this activity, students spin a number and count backward writing the numbers.

Race to 100

This math game is a great way for students to practice counting to 100 and seeing the patterns when counting. Children spin the Numbers 1-10 spinner and count on until they get to 100. How many spins before they get to 100?

The game can also be played with multiple students. Students take turns spinning a number on the digital spinner and color the correct number of numerals on their own worksheet. Who will win the race and get to number 100 first?

Tens and Ones within 100

In the Tens and Ones to 100 activity, students spin a number to 100 and color the matching number of tens and ones represented by the base ten blocks. This activity continues working on the skill of composing and decomposing numbers to 100.

Tens and Ones within 100 (Version 2)

For this version of the Tens and Ones within 100 activity, students spin a number, color the hundreds block, and compose the number by identifying how many tens and ones and how many in total.

Counting on to 100

In this activity, students spin a number and count on writing the numbers.

Counting Backward within 100

In this activity, students spin a number and count backward writing the numbers.

Ten More and Ten Less

In this activity, students find ten more and ten less for a given number. This is a great way to extend the student’s understanding of the base ten system.

More and Less 100 Chart Number Grids

For the 100 Chart Number Grids, students spin the digital spinners, write the number in the center of the grid and fill in one more, one less, ten more, and ten less. Students can use a hundred chart if they need help.
