Description
These free caterpillar missing number strips give kindergartners hands-on practice identifying number sequences within 1–20. Students write in the missing numbers on each strip, building counting fluency and number sequence recognition during maths warm-ups, small group time, or centres.
Also included is a full 1–20 classroom display caterpillar. Print and assemble the segments to create a colourful number line at student eye level. It gives kindergartners a visual reference for counting and sequencing throughout the day, and reinforces the same number concepts they are practising on the strips.
The strips are designed to build progressively. Earlier strips work with lower number sequences, and later strips build toward the higher end of 1–20. This makes it easy to differentiate.
What’s Included:
- 12 missing number strips (counting sequences within 1–20)
- Classroom display caterpillar (numbers 1–20, print and assemble)
