Secret CVC Words

Description

Motivate your students to read and spell CVC words with these fun and engaging Secret CVC Word pages.

Students will use the Secret CVC Words code to identify the beginning sound of each picture to spell the CVC word. A space with handwriting lines is provided beneath each picture for students to write the letters. After reading the CVC word, students color the matching CVC picture.

There are 140 Secret CVC words for students to decode and read with two versions of the activity included:

• Secret CVC words with secret code chart included on the worksheet
• Secret CVC words with no secret code chart

This activity is ideal for morning work, literacy centers, homework and distance learning.
