Welcome to United Teaching! I’m thrilled to share my journey and mission with you – supporting kindergarten teachers, homeschoolers, and parents with resources that make learning hands-on, engaging, and easy to use.

My story began during our homeschooling journey while I was completing my Master’s in Education. With children who learned differently, including dyslexia, I quickly realized that many off-the-shelf programs were dry and lacked the hands-on activities my kids needed. I started creating resources to fill those gaps, and the shift from frustration to progress showed me how powerful the right tools can be. That experience sparked my commitment to build resources other educators could rely on too.

Working with dyslexia also highlighted the importance of a strong phonics foundation. This led me to design Science of Reading-aligned phonics resources that give all learners the support they need in both classrooms and at home.

Over time, United Teaching has grown and expanded its resource collection. This includes the fun Math Decoders™ — puzzle-style math games and activities that turn number sense, addition and subtraction practice into code-breaking challenges. Like all United Teaching resources, Math Decoders™ is designed to make learning structured, effective, and engaging.
